Encinitas is well-known for its extraordinary dining. Stroll along historic Coast Highway 101 and stop in one of the many sidewalk cafes, restaurants, and trattorias.

Head further down the coast to Cardiff-by-the-Sea's restaurant row for fine restaurant which feature oceanfront dining, a variety of white-water and lagoon views and a diverse choice of cuisine. There are also many nice restaurants along the El Camino corridor in "new" Encinitas.
